In 1978, Leo began his sales career with Climax Products selling drop packing and related packaging equipment and moved on to become an independent packaging machinery manufacturers agent specializing in secondary packaging including a very successful 25 year relationship with Compacker Systems, LLC selling wrap-around, end load, side load, and bottom load case packing systems.
Leo also has extensive experience designing and preparing layout drawings for complete secondary packaging lines including product accumulation, fully automated case packaging, printing and labeling, product conveying, palletizing (conventional & robotically), stretch wrapping, as well as full pallet handling equipment.
Located in Cincinnati Ohio, Leo will be responsible for broadening our manufacturing representative network, expanding our complete end of line solution capabilities, and working with our customers to continue to exceed their expectations.

October 8, 2009 Davenport, Iowa. An investment group led by John Curtis has acquired Compacker Systems & Robotics in a purchase and John will lead the company as the President and CEO effective immediately.
John Curtis worked for Genesis Systems Group for 15 years and was Vice President prior to acquiring and assuming the CEO role at Compacker. Genesis Systems Group is the largest independent integrator of robotic welding systems in North America. Genesis Systems Group and Compacker Systems & Robotics have a common investment group and continue to work with each other as opportunities present themselves. Combined, the two companies have nearly 5,000 packaging and robotic system installations worldwide.
